Student Paramedics and AAPs
This page will help you complete the annual FMS check, which is required to ensure that all our volunteers meet the expected standards. Please see below for advice on what you need to complete.

This year's biggest change is that no places at any event will be offered to anyone who has yet to complete this annual check. It is vital that you complete this as soon as possible.

CLINICAL GRADE
The student paramedic/AAP classification includes university and apprentice paramedics. If, as part of your degree, you have taken the AAP certification, or if you have taken AAP training but are not on the degree route.

PROOF OF CLINICAL STATUS
We will need evidence of your status which will vary depending on your pathway. Acceptable forms of evidence are:

-
Ambulance Trust ID card
-
University ID card showing course title (dated)
-
AAP certificate

MANDATORY TRAINING
This year, we need to ask for evidence of your mandatory training. You can upload a single screenshot, or photo but it must show the course names and expiry dates. Alternatively, you can upload your certificate for each course. If any mandatory training expires before an event, you must forward us an updated certificate or your place will be offered to another member.
